I'm actually really happy with the linebackers. I'm particularly impressed with the young guys in the middle. Perry has been a pleasant surprise too, since late last season. We are number 1 against the run after 2 weeks. Thats the only thing we can really hang our hat on at this point

This is pretty typically early season production from Lacy. For whatever reason, McCarthy is never willing to commit to the run until midseason. Regardless of Lacy's productivity. I've had him on a couple fantasy teams over the years. Weeks 1-4, you might as well just bench him

I think McCarthy is a good coach who had a system that worked really well, with superior receiving and quarterbacking talent, for a long time. But the league figured him out, he no longer has an abundance of elite receivers, and he doesn't have any other ideas. 11 years is a long time to be the head coach of 1 team…
