A lot of people really liked John Lithgow and Julia Stiles. I personally thought the evil motivational speaker in s5 was at least as bad as Colin Hanks in s6, but s5 has fans.  Almost everyone thinks S7 has been the best since S4.  I am picky because I am a crime writer.

1.) Thus passes Issak Sirko, the Russian gangster terminator. It turns out that his purpose was to teach Dexter to express his feelings.

People never learn this lesson.  Viewers religiously kept clue notebooks for "Lost," and tried to find hints about the smoke monster in freeze frames.  But there was no answer, because there never was a grand plan, or even a backstory.  They just make shit up as they go along, because they don't know if they're going

1.)  However did Sirko get away from Miami Metro to shoot up that donut shop? Miami Metro is ever so competent! I am baffled.

I don't actually think Andy will die at sea, although it's interesting that with so few episodes to go, Ed Helms basically decided not to be in one.

By current "Office" standards, I thought this was strong. By historic "Office" standards, this show should have been taken outside and shot three years ago. Which begs the question of why I'm still watching. Apparently, it's because nobody loves me.

The people at Showtime have not been in touch with me.  We did sell film rights to my novel, though.

That is actually a common trope.  Anything anyone does on a computer on TV or in a movie will have a very large visual icon or animation, and some kind of progress bar, so you can see that it is happening.
