But how can they read it if they don't read it?!

Hopefully!

I have to be casual now because I only like their pre-Kid A stuff and In Rainbows. So, I can't really get my hopes up that I'll hear the Radiohead I like whenever they come out with a new album.

Sheeeeit, like a dude from fucking Gaslight Anthem's got room to talk. Come back when you've written a Pinkerton, mofo

Honestly, all a screenwriter needs to do is just copy down the dialogue straight from the book. How hard is it for them to realize that?

I'm really curious to see this as Freaky Deaky is my favorite Elmore Leonard novel. But, I kinda don't want to see it for the same reason.

I'd say Karen Sisco's next after those four(and I'd actually rank it above Jackie Brown, which I always felt was a waste of QT's talents as a screenwriter. I think his script for True Romance, which he said was his take at trying to write his own version of an Elmore Leonard story, is much better).

It's bad.

Good point. I mean, look at all the other movies the  Disney Channel has released over the years.

I groaned, too. But only because it was an unbelievably terrible joke. Terrible because it wasn't funny.

pretty much. makes it sound like they're considered less-than-human.

It's exactly the kind of solid, generally entertaining and crowd-pleasing film people say doesn't get made any more. I guess it's saying a lot that a film like that is rare and I definitely think it's worth rewarding Hollywood for getting something right every once in a while. It's not the Academy's job to reward

Safest for idiots.

"24-piece gospel choir." Not sure how to phrase this, but…
