It's true. I played through that way originally and tried going MaleShep for one playthough and it was a boring slog. The series is great, but it's hard for me to separate it's quality from Hale's excellent performance.

If you're not playing Mass Effect as a woman, you're playing it wrong.

ABC Family has streaming video of their shows up on their website. I'm not sure it has ALL of this new season at the moment, but it's sure to have at least the last few episodes. They usually have the new eps up by the morning after they air if not sooner.

It's good! But you have to either have a lot of enthusiasm or at least a tolerance for old-fashioned, sometimes straight-faced sci-fi seriousness that verges on silly. At least for the first third or so. When Riggins starts being cool is when the film does, too.
