Well, it is kind of a shared universe, although Firefly is exactly the obscure third or fourth-tier bad guy you'd expect in a show like Arrow, as opposed to the primetime bad guys that appear in the movies.

Todd's post on the latest Gossip Girl review has 139 Likes.  I'm pretty sure at least 135 of those are people like me who have little to no clue about what Gossip Girl is and wandered in just because of the F.

Shit, the way you described the quirky quests that appear to run on emotion instead of um, massive amounts of fetching, makes me feel like I really missed out on something.

You should elaborate, because while there were some definite problems regarding logistics in this episode and over the past half of the season, I still have trouble seeing how that completely ruins the show.
