Man that clip of Korra and Mako fighting the chi blockers has me about ready to throw my wallet at my computer screen. The animation, the lighting, the score. Yeah this show is going to be amazing.

I was confused by how turned on I was at Ava punching her.

Ahem, Dickie Bennett.

You know what would get me to watch? If Loretta started her drug trafficking scheme she's obviously going start. Then it's like a Justified spinoff.

How dare they deign to review music released by a publisher?

It's good to remember a time when Kel Mitchell was going to be a star and not the guy giving me stale donuts at Dunkin Donuts.

I might do that actually. Looking back at it, it really pretty damn great, and probably one of the last great Nick shows pre Spongebob. I actually remember liking the Helga goes to a psychiatrist one.

Just needed the locket.

Yep, it's sad to see shows like 30 Rock, which we love for its Breaking Bad like character elements, fall prey to joke telling.

Got a chance to watch some movies:

Working my way through Andre Dubus' Dancing After Midnight. First time reading him, but I love what I've read so far, "Blessings" in particular. Also finished Manning Marable's biography on Malcolm X which I get to compare to Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man, a favorite of mine so I'm looking forward to reading it again.

That doesn't really explain why you decided to skip reading everything else.

Yeah, was I watching someone watch someone get head and watch someone have sex.

I've actually emailed the producers of the show and gave them suggestions on how to make the character names a little easier to remember. Just pop a shorthand text when that character is speaking so we can identify them.

Odd thing to be frustrated about. I'm not going to read the books simply because I like the show too much.

I don't know because I thought I had a good idea, but I definitely didn't see incestuous finger banging on my list.

I saw the promo still for Beware The Batman

Man, when that sketch started and I saw Sofia Vergara wearing that dress and talking about her vagina, I was like "There's nothing that can stop me from watching this sketch," and then thirty seconds later I turned my TV off. Incidentally, I watched Bridesmaids which was pretty alright.

Minor caveat for me, the racial/ethnic jokes are bordering on Family Guy levels of awfulness.

He's been around him long enough that he can properly do a decent one.
