I'll bite. The show has never had the sharpest sense of satire or sarcasm, but it did a decent job of lampooning the Hollywood image (heartless agents, vapid stars). It managed to be caustic without offending which made for some nonchalant and enjoyable tv. S1 and S2 represents the show at the best (Larry Charles).

Perry Reeve's ass in a bikini. It was something.

You know what got me in the first episode? The guy running into the mirror. It was framed up perfectly so it just looked like he was running into the camera. That's when I knew that this show would be demonstrating to me how truly unsettling horror/sci-fi/mystery can be, and subverting everything I knew about those

Well I can still read large print books.

I LMFAO@ "and the lemon drink bitch"

No. Gangstalicious.

This movie has a 14 on metacritic, and yet I still expect it……no, I want it to go lower.

If this is a Rocko's Modern Life reference, I approve.

Someone help me out on the Batman status. I heard that they're keeping everything Morrison did from Batman and Robin Reborn onward to Batman INC, is that still the case? I really wanted to catch up with Detective Comics because I like Grayson as Batman and I haven't even started INC yet. So if Morrison is doing

So like an homage to Cowboy Bebop, Claymore, Baccano, Bleach, and Mushishi? Well actually I would like to see that. Point is that they chose a specific era to parody. Early 50's cartoons. Late 80's video games, and early 90's anime. Those weren't all encompassing, they were niche by design. Aaron Ehasz wrote this

I was going to say something about this show, but Sunny AND Archer next Thursday? Good God, I'm ready.

For me it was just that the stories were weak. Futurama is at its best when it toys around with its science fiction roots. These back season episodes have been pretty weak about fleshing out their stories/premises, and they've been pretty uneven in general. That and the character interaction just wasn't as strong.

Yeah I read that and felt embarrassed for Zack. He would have been better off saying "Jap cartoon".

Sports Night. I've been watching it on Netflix, it's alright, but I'm not seeing what the big deal is aside from "Apology". His dialogue is way too theatrical in far too many scenes. Also annoying is the fact that the characters can't be observed outside their office.

Crusade>Ark?

Damn nice catch.

Well, I mean relatively innocent.

I mean the scene did a good job illustrating it, but dude is completely in over his head. He can't say no to Hank, he has Mike commanding him with a single look, he gets ordered by Gus to go back outside and do it, and then drives Hank out. Pretty humiliating, then he has to go beg to a camera.

Well I think it was pretty important just because it connects some
actions together. Hector kills Gus' friend, Gus gets revenge, but his
revenge entails letting Hank live and look what that has gotten him.
Which is why I think it's important that the "blood for blood" line be
delivered in the beginning so its full

I enjoyed the flashback, but I think I delved into it a little more deeply. The "blood for blood" line Gus tossed out at first seemed to be just referring to the idea that revenge (by the cousins on Walter) would do nothing but cause trouble, but after the flashback we see Gus is slowly but surely reaping his own
