If the bombs' timer had expired it would have meant a massive cloud of poison gas about a mile up, so that'd probably be a bad thing.

I agree the weight comments are shitty.
It's funny because I'm still not sure if Pratt can actually act. He can act like a funny goofball (P&R) or a frattish asshole (Wanted), and he can mix those two like an Arnold Palmer for Starlord.
His mother's very proud of him and he no doubt contains many valuable, potentially life-saving organs.
He really should have been locked in an iron mask in a dungeon in the Bastille for that.
Plus, be honest: Denise Richards' nuclear pharmacist may be the single least convincing performance in the history of cinema, but I would happily spend twenty minutes watching her wash a car in slow motion.
"Book a conference room, maybe you can talk him to death."
"We don't take care of this, we don't make it to the men's room. Is that clear enough for you?"
Anywhere between 4 and 12, I would imagine. They activate all the agents in the European theatre but presumably they have people in Asia and the Americas as well. But at the same time one gets the feeling that there aren't very many of them, as evidenced by the fact that they need to send guys from Spain and Germany…
The trouble there, of course, is that by that standard what could be less an action movie than Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?
I still firmly believe that Tom Cruise was woefully, horribly miscast as Jack Reacher, but the fact that Robert fucking Duvall just shows up halfway through as the range owner goes a long way to making up for it.
I actually really liked that the eye surgeon didn't wreak a terrible vengeance upon him. The audience is certainly expecting it. It's the dog that doesn't bark in the nighttime.
To be fair, that's a traditionally idiotic weakness with Bane.
My problem with Renner isn't even really a problem at all: as you say, he's fine. He's always serviceable but I've never seen him rise above that level for even a moment. So he's seldom a film's achilles heel but he's also never a high point … he's just there.
My girlfriend dragged me to it since she has a big thing for the female lead in the blue armor (whose name escapes me).
Keira has undeniably one of the sexiest backs in Hollywood. It should have gotten an Oscar nomination for Domino.
Schreiber might as well have been a pre-amnesia Jason Bourne.
"There is one more way to kill a man … but it is as intricate and precise as a well-played game of chess."
I don't know how realistic it actually was—probably not very—but I love the scene when Bourne clashes with the Professor.
The last sequel Jason Bourne just lost it completely and came across as a cover or parody of itself.
