They're definitely playing him older with the tweed jackets and math teacher 'stache.

It is literally the least surprising thing in the world that Trump either underrates or does not know that telling jokes well is an actual skill. He probably just assumed he'd do it well because that's what he assumes about everything.
I long to see the middle-aged white guys who are going to venture into the black neighborhoods of Philadelphia to try to intimidate the locals.
IIRC that's pretty specifically what they did, handing it over to a production house that specializes in movie trailers so they could make it more like its own advertising.
Same with Channing Tatum if he were magically stripped of his dance moves and comedy chops.
@yourrageissad:disqus So far, your arguments seem to be:
If the character were well-cast, Jack Reacher would in no way resemble Ethan Hunt.
Oh, it definitely is. It's just … there's lots of those, at least in the real world. And—partly due to budgetary reasons, I'm sure—Seagate seemed like a pretty small place, not some San Quentin style supercomplex.
I would mind the Bible shit less if he made deep cuts or showed a real insight into theology. As of this episode he's about stuck at the level of a 16-year-old who skimmed it so he could mock it better.
Starscream was a fan favorite for being the complete opposite of Shades. He was so constantly, immediately treacherous that his continued presence was a hilarious undercutting of scary ol' Megatron's authority.
Yeah, it's entirely too cute. When they first mentioned Seagate I assumed that they were referring to the local prison, probably in upstate New York.
She absolutely did talk about the Hand attacking the hospital during her talking scene on this show. She described being attacked by men all in black, one of whom she managed to bring down. When she looked over his body she found that he had an autopsy scar, as if he'd been dead before.
I know you speak in jest but I'm Canadian and have been to Toronto many, many times and: no.
I really like all the casting in Scott Pilgrim except for the titular character.
It depends how you are in the second half.
The run D is looking like a nearly impenetrable wall, which would be great if opposing QBs couldn't pass for 7-10 yards down the middle or the field more or less at will.
You know, I'd never noticed. Don't watch a lot of Ben Affleck movies. But you're absolutely right that the above shows a deeply implausible hairline.
Armie Hammer is much too big for Hawkeye, IMO. In another universe he could have made a decent Thor but Hawkeye (particularly the Matt Fraction version) fits much more into the Everyday Guy and Loveable Loser molds.
Ultron has a really good movie in it somewhere. I get the distinct impression that Whedon and his writers had to hit so many stops over the course of the movie that the less flashy but more meaningful stuff like characterization and motivation got pretty much left by the wayside.
I'm not very invested in the MCU but I'm consistently amazed by people who seem to want to pair up Black Widow with Cap or Hawkeye.
