Reiser really did an amazing job. He was an oily, sniveling, cowardly little shit who was still real and human enough to remind everyone of somebody they know.

Thank you for mentioning that impossibly poorly-designed table.

Especially when they're played by Paul Reiser.

Dammit, Hudson.

The rain it raineth on the just,
And also on the unjust fella;
But mostly on the just, because
The unjust steals his umbrella.

It's 'cause he ate all the pepperoni with chopsticks.

Well, they demonized Jason Isaacs more than the British generally.

Shuttlecraft Pontiac had chronic transmission problems, but made up for it with a sweet airbrushed eagle on the hood.

I watched the whole series unable to remember Anders' name. He was a handsome side of beef who made no impression whatsoever.

God help me, I actually listened to the audiobook on which the movie was based, and the idea was that her skull was partially crushed by a large man with huge, battering-ram fists. Which describes Tom Cruise to a T.

The T-128 (as played by John Hodgman) was a quickly discontinued model that attempted to fell its targets using made-up trivia, quirky literary references and ballads played on the ukelele.

And Colin Farrell, technically.

It's like they've made Mario Kart into an Olympic event. It's almost preposterously fun and exciting, especially compared to the "hundredths-of-a-second" time trials that make up so many other sports.

I feel confident that Spider-Man would be a pretty amazing skateboarder in any case.

This show needs some Strangers.

…. I …. I was joking.

I'm more referring to the opening crawl of the Stallone movie than the comics, where they establish that Mega City One has, what, 50 million people? And a dozen murders a day or something.

It's really just Vancouver with some aerodrones and holographic fish.

I love that someone did the math and worked out that, relative to its size, Judge Dredd's Mega City One is substantially safer than many American cities today.

That tension which is so electric that the script has needed to mention it several times to remind us that it exists.
