yeah, i was thinking maybe they have scheduled 30 min lunches where they can eat unmolested. they can take/schedule their lunches such that there are at least a few cop cars available to respond to calls at any time.

one thing tho, when they go for lunch, do they usually drop lunch when they take a call? it seems too much to ask for from officers. they have to eat, right?

this bodes well for the finale and is a great callback to the pilot when it was sarah vs chuck, and some real tension about that relationship.
