I completely agree with Prole Hole—I have always thought Mostly Harmless was the third best book of the series (behind, of course, the original HG2G and The Restuarant at the End of the Universe, both of which are unimpeachable).

Uh, I was quoting an episode of "The Scary Door."
And the 80s movie "Mannequin." Truly frightening. Especially Meshach Taylor.
"I finally have time to read!"
Glasses fall off.
"Ahhh! Wait, my eyesight isn't that bad. I can still read the large print books."
Eyes fall out.
"Ahhh! Well, it's a good thing I know braile."
Hands fall off.
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!"
Tongue falls out. Head falls off.
I thought they were the same guy too, but it turns out no. (I just imdbed it)—Not Moby was a guy named J.P Manoux. Dean Pelton is Jim Rash.
"…so we'll get a space heater."
I think the Texas Chainsaw Massacre doesn't really fit with the slasher pic in style and tone—it's more a precursor than a full blown Slasher film. I do agree that it's a masterpiece, though.
Tom Waits—nothing in your definition rules out Passion of the Christ.
Werewolf bar mitzvah, spooky scary
Boy becoming men
Men becoming wolves
I don't think anyone was annoyed that they got married in Niagara. Or thought the wedding was too same-y. If anything, part of the problem was the opposite—too outlandish. Again: no one acts like that. And I love the Office and it's characters, and rarely get annoyed with their actions being outlandish. But this…
"He apparently had sex with a prostitute in a limo while both on the way to and coming back from his apology speech."
"Ha! You didn't know that didn't you!"
"…I didn't know I was adopted."
Oh I know that other people co-opt your wedding—I've seen it happen. I know that various characters acted according to who they've always been (the Angela thing is more of a pet peeve than anything. And it's not so much that she says it, but that I think either Jim or Pam would have the balls to respond to it). And…
I posted this on the Parks and Rec write-up:
I was just thinking that myself, staircar. I've laughed harder at it all season that any of the other shows.
Andy said twice.
I agree with Buffalo Jones. Psychiatry isn't a different specilty. It's an entirely different discipline and requires an entirely different degree than being a medical doctor of any kind. He wouldn't have changed to psychiatry—making such a change is impossible, really. At least without 7 more years of school. Joan…
While the line about Hilton being an eccentric was certainly ironic considering Cooper was the one who said it, I also couldn't help think "you're calling him eccentric? Just wait until you see his great-granddaughters."
Yeah, watching that scene again, the way the guard averts his eyes and all—that's a look of guilt, not remorse. He failed in becoming a better man.
The prison guard and his wife were laughing and joyous going down the hall. The guard goes from very happy to muted when looking t Don. I'm pretty sure his baby survived—they wouldn't have been happy going down the hall in the first place—it's not like the guard would see Don and think "oh, right, my baby died."…
