It was one thousand gallons. But you're right, there are some holes in the plan. But I'm totally willing to suspend some disbelief when it comes to a show this well-written. The magnet idea seemed more far-fetched than this, too.

Was it just me, or did the Holly actually say "ma ma" immediately after they discussed her first words? If she did, I wonder if that will come back later on; the fact that Walt and Skyler both missed it.

The opening scene with the kid finding the tarantula in the desert reminded me of the little girl finding the gas mask in the desert in season 1. I feel like I knew the characters better in the pilot and second episode than I do now. Hoping that Season 3 does a better job at actually defining these characters. But there's good news… Breaking Bad is back in July!
