There's a bunch a country west of the Mississippi, fellas.

Talos awakening in Argonauts has always been my favorite and freakiest moment. Much of that is the metal on metal sound of his joints.

Blood, viscera or offal cannot be done in a realistic way with CGI. The Thing (2011) doesn't compete with The Thing (1982) in this area, among other reasons.

What, "Graphic" and "Illustrated" printed on the cover wasn't enough of a hint?

Hey, remember Flo? Ugh!

Christy Lemire is hot!

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus Well these are much more insightful than the reviews over in TV Club.

He's clearly heightening. RDJ is only 5' 2". Gwyneth Paltrow is 6' 8".

I agree with you on Landis' and the opening prologue, but the Tex Avery feel of Dante's segment was miles away from the tone of the original show. It didn't have the based in reality feel of the best TZ especially the episode it's based on. I understand the need not to do a beat for beat rehash it just felt too far

What's up What the Fuckers…What the Fuck buddies?

I'm just being a smartass.

It probably does (go without saying).

People should also actually buy a little something, and not be all "I'm here for my free comic book."

I'm glad to hear The Belgariad holds up. I read that about 25 years ago and have always wanted to re-read it again.

Love that fucking book. What @avclub-c98389ee0e2ffdf95aee68056eca9a37:disqus said, very re-readable.

Fahrenheit 451 goes way back for me. I'm glad I judged it by the classic cover by Barron Storey.

Oh hey, James Bond is on.
