"This is the story of a time long ago - a time of myth and legend…"

The first dozen or so of the Wrightson/Wein run are very good.

I would love to see his "Swamp Thing meets Jesus" story.

How about a Carmine Infantino obit. Publisher, editor and artist. The man updated Flash for the Silver Age. Showcase #4 is one of the great covers.

That sounds awesome. There seems to be a whole sub-genre of music of people covering Floyd albums in full - this guy, Les Claypool, Flaming Lips, Phish. I always end up wanting to hear the original though.

I like his two songs on the soundtrack, unironically.

A soundtrack Floyd did that does work, I think, is Obscured By Clouds. It plays great by itself and is pretty chill.

The live material on UmmaGumma is fantastic.

Her and Teri Garr.

The writing is a bit stiff and clunky. However, I think Kamandi has the best two page spreads Kirby ever did. He may only have two or three face designs, lots of disproportionate anatomy and weird muscle placement but he had the best character and gadgetry designs, and plot ideas of anyone.

I love Tales of the Dying Earth. Great world building.

Wookie Wowie or Gaffi stick?

It's a result of hibernation sickness.

Dirk always seemd a bit asshole-ish to me or a "little shit". I thought the the bookshop owner from Black Books would make a good Dirk.

Or Leigh Brackett's draft for 'Empire'.

The Trip with Hopper and Fonda.

Han shot first.

Or read about Acosta's disappearance.

Try to get a VHS or download. The two? DVD releases butchered the soundtrack. It has been on cable a lot recently.

Yeah, John the Balladeer. The Appalachia folksinger who fights the supernatural. Those are good.
