Thanks. The JSA used to be my favorite DC comic, but I haven't picked them up after the ultra-reboot. I figured it would be too hard for me to dump my 40 years of continuity to get really involved.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out if the "horrible" above meant "horrifyingly scary" or "horrifyingly bad". Seems the latter.

The suicide scene really shouldn't work, but McCoy's performance, and the music, sells it.

By the way, I hope you enjoyed it as much as we do.

Yeah, they've promoting the hell out of the return of the SWD in the new series. It's right up front proper in the promotional materials.

Watching this for the first time at a sci-fi convention in a room full of long time Doctor Who fans must have been like being at the midnight showing of The Avengers. It validated every opinion and feeling we'd had for the show and we cheered and applauded all the way through. If you do the entire series as a

The only way to watch Time Flight is with the commentary on. The not-really-a-secret secret commentary on The Five Doctors with Tennant, et al., is also great.

One thing that has to be pointed out, and which has been mentioned already by someone else below, is how awesome the commentaries are for the Fifth Doctor stories. Davison has decided not to be embarrassed by his former role, and seems to embrace everything he used to complain about, and when Janet Fielding is with

This story is worth it simply because it sets up Remembrance of the Daleks, one of the best late-period serials by far, and easily one of the most fun ones ever made. Saw it at a convention for the first time with a bunch of other people who were doing the same, and the end of Ep.1 (as well as the very end, of course)

Norberg!!!!Possibly the best supporting character in any comedy, ever. Played amazingly by Peter Lupus. If the "Motel/Hotel" line in "Butler" hadn't already proved this, his work while grinding keys damned well did.
