I might stop short of "best," but they were definitely unknown treasures. My friend tracked those two down (back then "tracked down" was true, as it was really pre-Internet, where no album, book or movie is too rare to have delivered to your house within 24 hours) back in the day and we enjoyed the shit out of them.

Can't really recall this song without thinking of how it was used in that episode of "Brother's Grunt."

Okay, the "Libtard" thing, granted. I take that back.

These "Libs/Dems do [insert negative statement here] while Conservatives/Republicans do [insert self-flattery statement here]" screeds always remind me of when Homer's watching that black comedian on TV who says "Black guys drive a car like this, white guys drive a car like this."

Good enough to echo.

Well, since this has become a political thread…

I did a similar re-watching-as-an-adult for that movie a few years ago…

I also was intrigued by "Capital" because it was such an unlikely bestseller…

New baby at home, which means - ironically - I've been doing a lot of reading (I think it's because you're forced to stay indoors and not really go out anywhere, so reading or being a couch potato just comes naturally).

I don't really have any strong feelings about this movie either way, but I will say that the one trailer for it, that plays Sonic Youth's version of "Superstar," is probably the coolest trailer I've ever seen.

It really shows how ridiculous and sleazy he was with what he did. He used the death of a popular

Aww nuts, I forgot about one of which I don't know the name: It begins with a young woman going horseback riding by herself. She's set on by another woman on horseback who's very scary and chases her, yelling at her angrily…

What was the worst marriage in TZ history?

I've read less about him than you have, sounds like, but what little I have read I got the impression that Serling really had a victim mentality when dealing with the realities of making network television.

For years I had a job in the lower rungs of journalism that involved me sitting through city council meetings. I can't tell you how true the spirit of the 'Bear Patrol' subplot is to real life.

There's been a rumor in my family for sometime that, if true, would make me the (x number of 'great's) grandson of General W.T. Sherman… I have a friend who's from Alabama. I once told him that story and he cautioned me, with quite a bit of gravity, never to mention that if I'm in the south.

What a great take.

Cornell has more range

You say that like it's a bad thing…
