Yeah, having him front and center during the whole broadcast was a bold choice.  I was cringing at the thought of someone making a joke about him being there, but no one did.  Slightly disappointed/relieved.

Hostel 2 is actually way more clever than it had any right to be.  Probably way grosser than part 1, too.

Check out the director/cast commentary on Cabin Fever.  They come off as a bunch of dicks, but HILARIOUS dicks!

I agree that Fringe has fallen off this season, but maaaaaaan that episode where Walter dropped acid and had the Monty Python hallucination was one of the best of the series.
