Dude, we are practically neighbors.  That is hands-down the best venue in the city.  While i was standing around near the back waiting for the opener, i heard a weird ghoulish voice making bizarrre noises.  I turn around and it's Mike Scheidt doing vocal warm-ups.

I stood in the back at the top of the stairs so as to allow easy bathroom access, clean sight lines, and a feeling of superiority to all those three steps below me.  Any good metal shows coming up?

Rich Tanguy - I also saw Yob a few days back!  Total heaviosity indeed.  Were you by any chance at the Chicago show?

Are you by any chance Canadian?

Now make fists with your toes.

Man, i really want to go to one of these 2 person venues.  Sounds super fucking elite.

this guy right here.  he's alright.

and attainable.  keep aimin' low, bro.

It's Brittany, bitch.

I thought United 93 was pretty devastating and affecting.  It's one of those movies that i have a begrudging respect for and absolutely no interest in ever seeing again.  Kinda like Police Academy 4.

There are two whole nominations for Best Original Song.  Why bother?

it saddens me deeply that i missed Jennifer Lawrence.

i think maybe vin diesel in something probably

She looks like Bridget Fonda in that pic.  And yes, that is definitely a very good thing.

Red Tails!  Woo-oooh!

nah

Also, I wasn't high, which probably didn't help.

It was one of those Metro shows.  I know they played there 2 nights in a row.  Hard to be disappointed in a show because it went on too long, but I was one of those people whose mind was most definitely wandering.

I saw them when they came through Chicago in 2010(?) and holy hell was that show long.  6 songs in 2.5 hours.  I like GY!BE but there is only so much slowly unwinding tension one person can take.

Company Flow!
