As someone who is watching first time along with these reviews, I watched "The Luck of the Fryrish" for the first time and now I am in tears.

I know that your reviews may not get as many hits as say Lost reviews but we all love these reviews and we really hope that you will not take another six month hiatus again.

This episode in many ways sets up the framework for the two best episodes of the show Through the Looking Glass and The Constant.
This has been said a lot of times before but there is a reason for that- Desmond and Penny's story forms the heart of at least the 3rd and the 4th season of Lost (while Jin and Sun forms

It is strange that towards the end of The Shield I sympathized more and more with Goggin's character while here by each episode I dislike Boyd more and more.

Why do you have to complain about two other beloved shows to complaint this one? I love all 3 of them but Mad Men and The Sopranos were always "goddamn slow-moving meditation on the human condition" and some people do love these slow paced shows. While I love Justified for it's pulpiness and it's colorful cast of

Best part -

Honestly I think nearly every single camera sitcoms start to falter somewhere around their 5th or 6th season. Part of it is because of the toll of doing 20+ episodes every year.

Also "You are the worst actor i have ever directed and I directed both Wahlbergs"

Only one more renewal to worry about.

I guess we won't have to send a ton of wigs to the FX building.

Free wigs for all.

Roger tripping balls is perhaps my favorite fictional drug induced hallucinations if only for the fact they felt more unique and more subtle than the usual hazy sounds and hazy visuals.

Even if it has A Grade for everyone of it's last three episodes it still can't beat the 9 A Grade streak that The Shield had in it's final season.

I think this week will move at a slower pace but will have enriching character development . This week would be more character based than plot based and I think would better for it.

You have a great point. Don at least in early seasons is someone who could never be satisfied with one thing and would always want more.I think it was highlighted pretty well in his famous carousel speech where he says "But what is happiness? It's a moment before you need more happiness. I won't settle for 50 percent

I guess for the same reason as why Walter White or Tony Soprano are considered to be "BADASS" by some people instead of being seen as assholes.

Great essay Vikram. It exactly highlights why Don is unique in this way than the other antiheroes of The Golden Age.He could still have a redemption and it would be believable. Also Mad Men could be perhaps the only recent prestige drama that could end on a note of optimism rather than the same antihero dying or going

All I wanted to know how did he make and maintain his glorious beard?

Was he really that mediocre? Yes Anderson was the better actor of the two but he shone in many episodes like Paper Hearts or Small Potatoes. He was more of a B Grade actor to Anderson's A Grade acting.
