Oh, geez, I'm grateful for the AV club discussion boards. That's no joke.

I just listened to Spanish Harlem for the first time in my life yesterday upon reading about Phil Spector, and it was one of the most beautiful tracks I've ever heard. I can't believe I'm reading this headline a day later. R.I.P.
Well, I will agree that the flaming arrows is one of my least favorite scenes in the series, and was just a lazy excuse for not having to worry about the extras anymore. What it really never explained, though? I don't quite recall.
The A.V. Club
I don't understand why there was backlash towards these two characters before this episode aired, since we didn't really see much of them beforehand. They were only involved in, like, one plot.
Uh, so many ringsā¦
I don't know about that logic. That would mean that if a series existed that had only two episodes, one of them would have to receive an F and the other an A.
I don't understand how FX benefits at all by moving any of their shows to FXX if it just means the ratings are going to be worse (It's Always Sunny, Wilfred)
I'd put Arrested Development as a prime example, and anything good on NBC.
As horrible as a a show 1600 Penn was, I did find Josh Gad to be the sole funny part of it. The only reason I watched it on a weekly basis was because I'm pretty sure it ran right after The Office.
Are you referring to the spam comments, because I actually found those funny just because of the replies they would receive.
I'm too devastated by the news of the DVD releases to appreciate whatever else is posted about the Simpsons. I, for one, like the post-2000 seasons!
I always debated whether I should get the seasons individually or wait until the show ends and a master set comes out. Now that I've purchased the first 17 seasons, I think I know what my choice should have been.
The Beach Boys are an angel choir disguised as a surf band. The albums they released in the decade after Pet Sounds are magic.
It is a good question: What on earth is he actually saying?
Speaking of Milhouse, I'v been watching the show's 17th season since it just came out on DVD, and "Milhouse of Sand and Fog" is a hilarious showcase for him. When I see episodes like that, it makes me still believe that there is plenty to find worthwhile in the post-2000 seasons.
Is Swartzwelder just a real-life Ron Swanson?
Lane Garrison has grown up since I saw him in Prison Break.
That is such an awful scene. It should have been the moment where one of the characters finds out Dexter's actual identity, but the writers completely wasted whatever potential that story arc could have had.
South Park did it!
