Try "Love in the Afternoon" (aka "Chloe in the Afternoon"). The comments regarding the period pieces I'll echo. If you like "Love" you'll like the rest, and will eventually find your way to the period pieces. "Claire's Knee" and "My Night at Maud's" are the standard entry points I would think.
