Did you see how quickly he went into the flower shop and exited? I mean, that might be more about the great directing, but some credit has to go to the actor for that.

Good call on Duchovny. I'm not a huge fan of the TV Set as a film (outside of the awesome song over the credits), but Duchovny plays overwhelmed really well in it.

Yeah, it's a relatively well-known foreign film. I haven't seen it, but it's not something so obscure that I don't have the chance to.

I personally thought she WAS revelatory in Manchurian and mainly because I'd never really seen her play a villain before (unless you count her character in Kramer vs. Kramer). Now she's kind of mastered it since then with the Devil Wears Prada and to a lesser extent, Doubt.

Walk Hard is such an underrated, great movie.

Meryl Streep gets no love?
She had at least two spectacular performances

Yeah Luke Wilson should be in Tenenbaums if anyone

Well he also picks a lot of terrible films (Shooter, Max Payne) to go with the good ones (Boogie Nights, Departed, The Big Hit)

I fucking love Shattered Glass and yes, this greatly deserved to be in the top 10.

Funny you mention Paul Rudd because I think his performance in I Love You, Man is supremely underrated. His awkward, stuttery, almost off-putting nature came off as very real and, in my mind, separated himself from the normal (though admittedly awesome) Rudd Roles.

I hate the Dark Knight as a film, but the Joker really should be on this list.

Well, Rape Babies, but yes around V-Day

Your "truth" is all opinion, and thus it isn't true. Boom roasted.

You gotta think Ed O'Neill gets recognized based on the veteran card alone. Not that he wouldn't deserve it. Cuz he would.

If only the real Principal Blackman and Jesse Pinkman's would have a party together.

Also, my birthday is tomorrow
And it sucks butt

Phil is amazing.
"I am not really sure where the fear comes from. My mother says it's because when I was a kid I found a dead clown in the woods, but who knows."

I was kinda hoping Downtown Owl would make the cut but apparently I'm in the minority when it comes to loving that book.

A+?
I thought A+ weren't allowed on the AV Club?

I thought the Seinfeld finale was cheap in its attempts to just bring back all the "wacky" characters, but I like cheap and I loved it.
