Luke Cage's powers are Super strength, Indestructible skin, and Black History trivia.

But why worry about syndication NOW? That's not even an option til after like, 100 episodes. Plus, he was cancelled TWICE from TV. Focus on what's in front of you, Joel. Clearly, streaming is the way to go. You don't see Game of Thrones breaking for commercials or censoring themselves in the hopes that one day they'll

Yeah - on free TV. Not on pay TV like HBO or Netflix.

But it's not a "natural break" y'know? It's rather forced and jarring. The host segments are a natural break.

I'm really surprised they kept the invention exchange. That was almost never funny, cute at best, and it's barely related to the show's premise or to the idea of movie riffing. It was basically an excuse for Joel's prop comedy, which I thought even he'd gotten away from toward the end of the show. Or am I remembering

Who's the black day walker
Who's a killing machine to aalllll the suck-heads?
(Blade!)
You're darn tootin'.

You Snipes shaming, brah?

I remember a Stan's Soapbox during the height of 1989 Batmania. As soon as that fever breaks, Stan said, Captain America will burst on the scene "like a Marvel meteorite!"

Ron Pearlman > Stephen Dorf. We can all agree on that, right?

Good point. And origins are awesome with the right characters - some have better origins than others. Spider-Man's origin (and discovering his powers) is some of the best stuff in the original trilogy. Original Iron Man is great too. Blade's origin is a sentence - his mother got bit by a vampire while pregnant. Done.

Or at the very least Netflix should air that single season TNT Blade series that I never got to see.

I'm glad you acknowledge that Blade 2 was bigger, faster, stronger and indeed, sharper.

Interim.

"my friend was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement attesting that he would never publicly attempt to claim credit…"

I like that they threw in the line "Yeah but he wasn't my hire." just so Daryl's hands are somehow clean. Doesn't change the fact he was no help and neither was anyone else.

Apparently, the documentary producers were pissed to learn that Pam wasn't severely beaten.

Boy, who knew documentary boom mic operators were so handsome, huh?

Not even some really. One.
