Roman a' clef is a name for a story based on the author's real life. I could see it being a form of cunnilingus, or at least thinking-man's-frottage, however.

Favorite Episode
"Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man" Heartbreaking work of staggering genius OR great satire? Alternateley, the key to everything OR complete bullshit that he wrote for the kind of magazine that would publish Kilgore Trout?
I went through the mythology set last year. It was actually not quite as good as I remembered it being but, damn; it was a blast week to week.
Elephant Shell
I have to disagree and say that this album is excellent. I know there's hype behind them, but this isn't some kind of VampireMGMT of the month. These guys came up with a really interesting, thematically cohesive album. Plus, "Your English is Good" is easily one of my favorite songs from this decade.
This record rules
I grabbed it over the weekend. Takes the stuff I like about Big Black but winks and nudges a little harder.
I would lynch common first
he has failed to entertain me every time I try to get into his work.
Your English Is Good
by TPC is a contender for best song of 2007
Sometime Soon
I need to watch "Mulholland Drive" for the 6th time. Billy Ray was in that, right?
Lynch> Kanye
Steve Carrel
Has participated in some turds lateley, but when I think about things I've loved in the past five years, he's done stellar work in more of them than anyone else.
New Song Titles For This Threat (long and everything)
"I tried to come up with a joke about people chopping off each other's hands and all I got was this aftertaste of Pete Wentz musk" followed by
"I forgot Sufjan Existed, now I know how we'll all feel in a few years when indie rock starts to have balls again"
@broseph
Weeds is better than ever.
Mad Men
has laid down some brilliant de facto hipster slams with the beatnik characters. Plus it's, you know, the best example of TV that works on the level of great literature that I've seen in awhile.
I've been following shit for too long
I feel like I'm entering year five of thinking that Dane Cook is shitty and embarassing. I want to see the romantic comedy they'd use as a vehichle for Doug Stanhope.
@cheesus
Good points, but you forgot perhaps the laziest mechanic of all; The Green Ledges. They literally misestimated the compatibility of the charachter and environmental mechanics to the point where they had to shoehorn in this garish non-move to make certain areas of the game passable.
@josh
Your logic is impeccable. However, I still plan to get hammered on Cisco and see "Postal" the day it comes out… I doubt the experience will be anything less than transcendant.
Owen Wilson
is a celebrity who, more or less, should actually exist. In light of that, I'm not nearly as prone to joking about him trying to kill himself as I otherwise would be. Ben Stiller can be great. However, I've never seen a "Ben Stiller Movie" that looked good or impressed me.
Thirding Wiseau
I've been to "The Room" close to 10 times now and I have to agree that AVC is long overdue to interview Tommy Wiseau. The man does a Q&A before every screening and recites a Shakesperean Sonnet before the film rolls for fuck's sake!
This is further affirmation
That we've entered some sort of collective bizarro era that we're going to wake up from in a few years with nerve damage, blood on our hands, and a language consisting of only dull grunts and emoticons.
Zakk Wylde
has his name on some awesome guitar strings. I use them cause they're super thick which makes playing the instrument way more gratifying than it should be (it also adds the Biff Tannen's Car effect whenever someone who isn't used to it tries to play it).
To Shredder
Drive Like Jehu's "Yank Crime" is probably my favorite record ever. Fugazi's "Repeater" is another pretty widely considered one.
At the Drive-In's "Relationship of Command" and "In/ Casino/ Out" both rule… A more comprehensive list (I could probably come up with 20 if pressed) would require time I do not…
