I care about the characters and their emotional journeys are believable and well-acted. The fact that the time travel/AU stuff doesn't work if you follow it down the rabbit hole simply means it's on par with EVERY OTHER time travel movie and Star Trek property ever.

"I shall drain the world's oceans into the Earth's white hot, molten core and boil them all away!"
"What for?"
"POWER!"
"Power over what?"
"THE SEA!"
"Well, again, it's been attempted, but I suppose I'd better stop you…When's all this likely to happen?"
"SOON, TIME LORD!"
"When?"
"MONDAY!"
'Monday's a bank holiday."
"TUESDAY!"

Did no one notice the smell of a decaying body in the wall? (If you've ever had a rodent die in a wall, you know drywall doesn't do shit to stop that smell).

There's also the cops not recognizing a safe deposit box key and thinking it might be a car (!!) key.

Of course an alternate scenario is possible, it's just…what on this specific series, or indeed in the entire lineup of dependable CBS procedurals, makes you think that they would do that? There are certain shows where it's indeed possible that they might go that way (where the name guest star might be a red herring)

I had to do a double take at the promo photo above to realize it wasn't an old photo of Hugh Laurie as House. They really aren't bothering to hide the show's shift to a House takeoff anymore, are they?

I don't see any scenario in which it can possibly tank.

On Anderson Cooper's talk show recently, Kathie Lee Gifford embarrassed him by asking if he went to Vanderbilt University. (No, he attended Yale).

It reminds me of that kid on Smash who's like 17 but who talks and acts and is responded to at an extremely juvenile level. People actually thought they mistakenly cast a teen in a role meant for a 7 year old and didn't bother to rewrite.

Will this finally demolish the myth that Lohan is some great lost acting talent? I'm really befuddled by some remarks that make her performance in Mean Girls seem like a Day-Lewis worthy achievement. She was fine, but she basically used the same acting tics and approach in Mean Girls as she did in Liz & Dick. The

I like the way everyone talks to Chris as if he's developmentally disabled. He's what, 12? And at best everyone talks to him like he's 5. Mike is particularly good at it:
