I don't know…
I actually feel like the show still has a ways to go to catch up with its great season last year.

Pick up the pace, boys!
It felt like this episode (both parts) was "Always Sunny" trying to boil itself down into a formula — bickering, contempt for each other, The Lawyer — without any real inspiration. Next week's boat episode looks more inspired. Hopefully it can regain some traction.

Ah! All in the Family. Right right. Sliiiiightly before my time. (Though I Love Lucy somehow isn't.)

But wait
If Katy Perry isn't allowed on Sesame Street, how will she ever learn anything?

Color me ignorant,
but what comedy is TV referencing with "A conservative father-in-law and his liberal son-in-law love each other almost as much as they hate each other"?

Shannon Woodward
The only thing that intrigues me about this show is how adorable Shannon Woodward is. Does she even have lines? Or does she just beam whenever Jimmy talks about his inane Thesaurus?

Haha, thanks. It sucks that if you don't get to reading these articles until the afternoon, you're basically doomed as far as comments go.

Cynicism
What are the motives behind all this? It's almost like Starz cancelled the show in order to capitalize on the outrage/inevitable word-of-mouth and cash in on iTunes, Amazon, and Xbox sales, then release the DVD while people are still talking, and then — oh yeah — pretend to appease fans by saying "really

Love Only Exists on Television
Interesting that so many of these are from TV shows and only a few are from movies.

My friends, stop! Suure, we could tear this house down…

A somewhat-related question: why doesn't anyone in modern-day Springfield still drink root marm?

The Mole
The think tank stuff is fascinating, but the co-workers are bland as hell. Single Mom's "informant" scene felt like a lazy attempt at getting us to care about these characters. "I think she has a problem with alcohol." What the hell? Yeah, we see her throw up in the bathroom hungover, but so what? She's in

Denial is a river in Africa.

I think one of the bits of info out of Comic-Con was that Hank Scorpio will likely return, maybe even next year.

impatient
I want to read this script RIGHT NOW.

Also, back to the topic at hand for a second: when the writers figure out what to do with Lisa, it can produce some of the series' finest work. "Lisa the Vegetarian" is one of the funniest episodes of all, hands down, and "Last Exit to Springfield" had both a funny Lisa B-story ("Lisa needs braces!") and one of my

"This town is a part of us all, a part of us all, a part of us all. Sorry to repeat myself but it's the only way you'll remember."

He's probably just convinced her that she's actually married to someone else famous.

And it would've made for some more David Cross as Ginsberg, a la "I'm Not There." Best part of that movie.

Biggest understatement ever
"And it's not going to work with us."
