Middle schoolers should listen to Weill. It'll fuck them right up.

Having heard recordings of both sung by opera singers, my opinion is that they both work far better when firmly on the "musical theatre" side of the line.

YES! THIS!

Are that guy's armpits shaved? Or is he just naturally hairless there? Bizarre.

And tonight the marquees of Broadway will be lit by Fred Ebb and Jill Haworth spinning in their graves.

It has been nearly 15 years since I saw the episode. I guess I'm a little rusty.

I vaguely remember that one of them involved Victor's return and whether he was a Nazi Agent (and possibly the question of where Scott really came from), but I don't recall the other two. Or wait, did Hillary Booth quit?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who remembers that show! I absolutely loved it as a kid. (A 13 year old homosexual who rarely had plans on Friday nights loved the show about a radio station in early WWII. Go figure.)

I saw this movie on AMC (when they still made the pretense of showing classic films) when I was in high school, after having heard many times from my parents how tense the whole chase sequence at the end of the film is. Unfortunately, the commercial breaks were coming every 3 minutes for the last 15-20 minutes of the

True fact: under the name "Cheryl McFadden", she choreographed "Labyrinth".

Can we have a brief discussion of how fantastic that movie is?

So, um…were one to seek this movie out for entirely prurient reasons, would one be satisfied?

Now that I've dropped out, why's life dreary dreary?

Wait, a movie called "Dirty White Boy" isn't gay porn? I need to reconsider my preconceptions.

I saw the show once. Not one of Williams' finer efforts. The movie seems worth a look, though.

Gurira's also a fantastic playwright. I need to get to her latest show before it closes at the Goodman.

There is no way to do a faithful adaptation of "Killer Joe" that isn't NC-17. It's a desperately fucked-up, emotionally brutal play, though kind of awesome in its twisted way. I don't think my boyfriend has yet forgiven me for taking him to see it.

This has been rumored for a very long time. I'll believe it when I see it.

Lansbury. Merman was more iconic, but she was the best actor.

I don't know what Cobie Smulders looks like, but I think she has one of the most unappealing names I've ever heard. It just refuses to trip off the tongue.
