I see what you're saying. And several have in fact died since filming, sadly.

It also had three sexy women getting murdered after generally betraying or leading astray men.

I'm not sure how I feel about the evolution of the arm right now. But I do love how bonkers it is. I wonder if it's what Lynch always had in mind, right back to when he had the Man From Another Place say "When you see me again, it won't be me" in the original finale. Or maybe Michael B. Anderson becoming a crazed

I don't know, the show really looks different and not as warm. That's more of an issue with colour palette and perhaps setting (we're rarely actually in the town of Twin Peaks in these first two parts), but I also just miss seeing the grain on my screen. It adds something. Plus, Lynch has said it is made to be seen in

Well, I haven't seen the show since it first aired

I think I sympathize with your concern about the show building a coherent mythology, but could you elaborate on that a little?

Also, I really wish he would give up digital. I think it's used to brilliant effect with Inland Empire but it adds nothing here.

I agree on most fronts here. I'd like to add that the final scene with the Chromatics was so beautiful and moving. Vintage Peaks.

Stranger things have happened (Donald Trump is President), though I'm not sure in tennis!

It is happening again

Sure, but she's never had a lot of success at Roland Garros. That, plus poor form, plus possible injury, leads me to think the odds of her winning are pretty low.

Novak has hired Andre Agassi as his new coach!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you could put her 10th there but, again, don't see how you put her ahead of any of these players who are actually playing well. I don't know if she's healthy to be honest. I didn't see the match but I understand she didn't look 100% when Eugenie Bouchard (of all people) beat her in routine fashion.

Maybe. Dimitrov, Tsonga, Berdych, etc. are probably on the next tier right now.

It is happening, again. It is happening, again.

Yeah, he wants to focus on the grass season. Plus, he hadn't played a clay tournament this year and with Nadal looking so dominant on clay after Madrid, I guess he didn't think he'd have a chance. Now Nadal looks a tad more vulnerable but I assume he would still make the same call for the other reasons.

And on the women's side I think the hierarchy is much less clear, so fewer spaces at the top. But here's a rough guess:

You didn't see that he withdrew?

Since I almost have a full list here, here's my top 10 for the French Open:
1. Nadal

Yeah, maybe put him 5th. Perhaps we can't count out Stan either. He hasn't been doing much but he always seems to pick it up out of nowhere in big matches. Plus he's a former champion. So, I'd put his odds probably 6th or maybe 5th just ahead of Goffin.
