The operatic ending reminded me more of the barber/haricutting epsidoe of Seinfeld, where opera was used as the passing music between shots, and the episode ended with Jerry threatening Newman to opera noticeably in the background.

Like a lot of things on Curb, David recycles bits from his Seinfeld days. The bra thing, true, but the caviar piling resembled George's "double dipping" days a bit too much.

They really do great work on his hair these days. Find clips of the Soup from a few years ago, and it's entirely different, noticeably balder. When your star rises, so does the quality of your hair wrangling.
