Only with the resurrection of Scheider. The unsung hero of movies until his death…Yes I mean movies he hadn't even been in.

Why would you use Stargate: Universe as the pic? I LOVED that short lived series….but that's not what they're going with, right?

Thanks. I'll look up the soap.

That doesn't, somehow, cross out "My child was murdered by a neighbour." Beth has the whole " I have the help of an organization and a community, not to mention my son's murderer's spouse, so fuck Mark" thing in her debit column.

How the fuck is he grandstanding? He wants to get closure. He can't do it, because he is male and functions under different internal logic than females. Rather than help him through it, his wife forsakes him, and convinces his children to do it. Mark is a tragic figure in this story. Whether he was cheating on

Nope. Don't know how you got there, and am surprised you have nothing to refute the theory. Mark needs help. His wife, rather than get him help, complains that he's not fulfilling HER needs. Mark is ostracized by the VERY PEOPLE that need to be around him. That is fucking bullshit. Beth, the character, sucks.

Correct. That IS the Broadchurch rule. Who keeps popping up, in different story lines, but hasn't said much or anything, yet keeps getting paid to appear? That's the perpetrator…and that's how I picked out this one…with a twist.

It must be a British perspective you are coming from. Ben's ORIGINAL plan is to keep to the upper floors until things become untenable, and then head below if they do. That is a very very good plan….It's also the plan that happens. Cooper doesn't "recognise" anything. He's afraid, an rightly so, and wants to hide.

FUUUUUCCCCKKKK that. If it was a chick who couldn't let it go, everything would be fine. Mark's child was killed by his friend. The man needs counselling, but didn't get it. Instead, that snot of a wife whinges that SHE isn't getting what she needs. She's got the support of the wife of the murderer of her child

She DID change her title to Mistress however.

I don't discount the idea….Do you think the show thinks what you think? Because that makes him a creep, not just a killer.

Dude, you guys have Roast Beef and Mustard potato chips. You think a pot pie should have NO, I repeat NO moisture in the fucking thing. You CANNOT rundown world cuisine.

MINORITY REPORT: That was a shitty episode with lousy motivations and ridiculous events. It didn't move the plot forward one fucking iota and introduced no new ideas. The backstory we get is the most tame, bland shit you can possibly get. It took me three days to get through the forty five minutes oof this ep,

I agree. That sex offender character is the creepiest creep that ever creeped a creep.

I don't know what you mean. Beth , the character, is the character. I might buy that Whitaker, as the Doctor will be coloured by what we know of her acting as Beth.

Fucken eh rights. You hang a picture of a cute girl and continue your day. Pretty sure there was a newspaper in Britain that had them topless every day…..

Hardy dating was hard. Miller catching him was awesome. Beth, as a character continues to suck. Fuck her for not getting that her husband has more issues than she does. The show makes her a hero somehow, but she abandons her mate.lTrish going through her own crime scene was….damn….That was heart wrenching. Nice

It's good they got him. Set knows his schedule is swamped with other work since his One Off on That Seventies Show.

The hero is not wrong. His plan fails, but he's not wrong. Cooper's plan turned out to work. Ben's plan of leaving the door open until everything went to shit worked too.

Dead Set was a great little mini series. I've watched it half a dozen times.
