Put down Rolling Stone magazine.

Actually, the best part of the song is the guitar licks laid down by the immortal Robert Williams (R.I.P).

He is.

NO.

Really? Jackson's a sacred cow?

I gotta disagree with putting Ted Nugent in the same category as Bill Cosby & Roman Polanski. That's not fair at all.

C'mon, Kanye West is one of the biggest superstars in music. Black Thought is a member of a collective, who's drummer is more heralded than he is.

I would argue that the use of a drum break in Hip-Hop history is Eric B & Rakim's use of "Ashley's Roachclip" from "Paid In Full".

The appeal of sampling is capturing the essence of the track, the acoustics of the studio and the equipment, so a drummer recreating a drum track can't 100% replicate the way the microphones sounded in 1968 because that type of equipment doesn't exist anymore.

During the breakdown I hear Dynamite Corvettes - "Funky Music Is The Thing"

You're sampling the ambiance of the music, not just the notes or beats. You're never going to recreate "When The Levee Breaks" without recording it in that English castle they recorded it in and the same microphones, and same recording equpment.

Ha, that reminds me of the "Attitude Era" angle they did where Steve Austin broke into Brian Pillman's house and he was waiting with like a Glock and the cameras then went blank and it was implied that Pillman had shot him.

Huckaby - "Eastbound & Down"
Deez Nuts - "Deez Nuts"

Yeah, that's one of the reason that I rooted for WCW.

Charlotte is not a world-class wrestler.

Really?

I actually think that the reason people see the "Attitude Era" with such rose colored glasses is WCW. Fans tended to remember the excitement in the competition between WWF and WCW and tend to now give all the credit to WWF, because they survived, but a lot of the stuff I think people give credit to WWF for, was a
