VH1 used to actually be better. "Behind the Music" was like the best show on TV at one time. They had so many good documentary shows and rock shows and behind the scenes shows.

I've been waiting for the "Music of 9/11" for years thing.
Yes
"Sad Sweetheart of the Rodeo" is one of the most underrated songs of that past 15 years.
Me too.
Um, Nirvana - Nevermind/In Utero
Hole - Live Through This
Nas - Illmatic
Biggie - Ready To Die
Wu-Tang - Enter The 36 Chambers
2pac - All Eyez on Me/Makaveli/Me Against The World
A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory
I do think it's the "best song". That song is great and I'm always surprised that it wasn't a bigger hit over here.
Meh, it was teeny bopper crap at the time.
I kinda feel like 1999 was the last "real" year of the music industry. I don't know how to describe it, but even though 90% of the music from that era (boy bands, girl bands, nu-metal, pop rap) was god awful, there was just something so exciting.
Actually, the '90s were like 3 decades.
It was just basically The Andrea True Connection's "More, More, More" looped over and over again slowed down.
I know what you mean.
Whooooooaa, really?
The Briscoe Brothers still did up until pretty recently, I think.
Vince is just gonna find a way to put him back in the title scene so he can be Flair's record. He can't have a non-WWE guy be the guy with most runs, so he's going to shoehorn Cena into 2 or so more title runs,.
To be fair, Hammer started off as one of the "Holy Ghost Boys", which was one of the first gospel rap groups, so he just kinda went back to his roots.
Worst era of Hip-Hop ever.
I always wondered what kind of hellish identity issues Kid Rock must have inside.
Well, I left Velvet out just because it's not as obviously classic, but I'd argue she's got 4 straight bangers that eat anybody else's lunch in pop music the last 30 years INCLUDING her brother Michael
Yeah, Janet's 3 or 4 album streak from Control to Rhythm Nation to Janet to Velvet Rope is about as good as you get in pop music.
