are we ever gonna get
Declines I and II on DVD? Ever?

I think they were more popular than is remembered. They just didn't tour so much. The NYC show is almost sold out, apparently.

another good place to start
Jeffrey Lewis' "Legend of the Fall":

Stinky tofu is the only thing I've eaten in the last ten years that I've had to spit into a napkin. (I've eaten durian, intestines, etc.) But only the Taiwanese kind, it's the smelliest.

on the plus side
j.lo did seem to actually memorize her lines, rarely looking at cue cards. a lot more than you can say for, say, annette bening.

Exit to Eden
Was a crowd pleaser?

Just one more thing.
Leonard is right about the '70s/'80s feel (and Columbo Reference). Human Target is like a flashy update of a NBC Sunday Mystery Movie series, and there's not enough well-done breezy fun on TV if you ask me so I'm hoping it will live up to just that. The pilot was fun.

Blue Mountain
was hoping this would be about the online greeting card people.

SPY
Could the writers please declare a moritorium on the word "spy"? I feel like every time it's used, the screenwriter is 13 years old. Say "agent" or "operative" or something, but when Chuck says "I think I could be a great spy" for the zillionth time it just sound juvenile.

bands on the run
i enjoyed the one season, mainly for flickerstick's rock n' roll cliche shenanigans. they were the only ones who didn't seem worried about the cameras.

B?
You are being very generous with the grade. It's pleasant enough, but it's Sumner going through the motions. And it's not "that New Order sound" without Peter Hook's bass.

So really
It's not Best One Season Wonders, it's Best One Season Wonders That Aren't As Good as One Season Wonders That Made Our 30 Best Shows of the '00s List.

Padma's sherbert catsuit
That was something.

…live long and…

er by Pizza Guy I meant that awful Patrick Dempsey movie Loverboy. Coulda sworn that was the title.

pizza guy
we all knew this episode would end with jessica signing up for the service, not knowing it was ray and i was slightly worried it was gonna play out like the Pizza Guy or something, but I think they handled it well. As to Lenore not letting Ray stand up a client, I think a one sentence explanation would

Koechner's actually really funny in Extract.

Did anyone else…
…think of Albert Brooks while watching Extract? This felt like one of his '80s comedies, best with the little moments and not so good with plot or wrapping up the movie. The scene with the bong, especially felt Brooks-ian.

Toby Huss
Nice to see Toby Huss as the guy who hated Ray. Why isn't he used more on shows — great character actor.

URGH!
i'm glad this is out but too bad they couldn't give URGH a proper release. Jim Skafish, who performs "Sign of the Cross" in the movie, isn't s so happy and questions the legality of this release:
