it helped that a recurring guest star on Bones was actually in Avatar—and seeing him camp out to see the movie he had a semi co-starring part in was kind of amusing.

Pleased. I have both (BOTH!) of the Northern Exposure soundtrack albums and while I fucking love the first one, the second one probably could've fit on this list as being inessential.

I have the some kind of wonderful soundtrack on cassette as well! I hate to admit it but I've only actually listened to it a handful of times over the years and could never quite get into it despite the fact that I loved the movie when I would stumble across it in junior high.

if you're gonna have one soundtrack album "Singles" would be the one to have. My sister's abandoned cassette tape of it was definitely my most played cassette tape senior year of high school. (I played it practically every night) and this was in 2000!

That really is maybe THE worst Fonzie impression ever—and to top it off they have even worse impressions of everyone else too!

I always wanted that soundtrack album (looks down) I really did! I remember asking for it one year and I guess I just never got it. Probably a good thing as my (thankfully) thinning cassette collection is essentially made up of oddball cassette tapes I loved when I was a kid, and then actual music when I finally

Well the man's whole campaign slogan consisted of an old Square One song so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

    Myaim and Manolo Bialik Blahnik

Soul Coughing was a wonderful band that I sadly didn't discover until they were already broken up—or at least well on their way to being broken up, but at least I remember when Circles was all over the radio. (or at least alternative radio)

I actually liked their music cues whenever they would have them by themselves—the scorer did an excellent job updating classic sounding spy themes to modern day fast paced riffs.

that was a Johnny Mathis song right?

ha! I had a college roommate whose CD collection was almost entirely made up of Christian music (his dad was a minister) We actually ended up getting along really, really well—as he was more than knowledgeable about pop culture in general (he was a huge Price is right fan for example) but i'll never forget moving in

irony tends to get lost with the passing of time.

there was a fairly Vincent Price-esque movie that Boone was the lead in in the 50's called "I Bury The Living" that was very good, and one that I think benefited from having someone who was quite different than Vincent Price in the Vincent Price role.

Ditto. I've never actually seen this before—I don't think I've ever even run across syndicated reruns of it in the past the way I have Bonanza and Gunsmoke (I'm talking local tv syndication in the late 80's/very early 90's when I was home from school and would spend the day flipping thru the tv channels to find stuff)

it certainly beats "bad judge…bad judge…what chu gonna do…what chu gonna do when she comes for you…bad judge..bad judge."

4 years ago was pre-Whitney. We're living in a post Whitney age now Jay S. God Help Us!

Bad Wallet Inspector (that's one dedicated to Wallet Inspector. I'm sure he won't see this tho.)

"NBC has had a middling track record with new comedies over the last few television seasons"

I completely forgot about "Made in Jersey!" If I'd remembered it, I'd have never said what I said about Stalker because I believe that actually was the first show cancelled a couple seasons back!
