I think the move may actually be out of obligation to Chuck Lorre. I gotta think that Lorre was squirming seeing his latest show—which was actually well reviewed for a change—struggle to find its own viewership while BBT's wealth of lead-in viewers was going to something that was as widely panned as The Millers was.

I'm glad their back-peddling on dropping Big Bang Theory though. Its a show they've literally covered every single episode of since its premiere, this website having become a thing that reviews individual tv episodes the very septemeber it premiered! Its also frequently commented on every single week as well so its

as a show it was a lot better than the other four year flops. there was an actual point of view and sensibility that was being shown as opposed to generic work place where the heroine might or might not find love.
It had its ups and downs show wise—Jere Burns' Kirk tended to steal way, way, waaay too many scenes (he

Not for nothing but I'm always calling myself a schmuck whenever I describe something I'm doing but is really just me standing (or sitting) there not knowing what I'm doing. ("So I'm running around like a schmuck thinking I gotta do this, but really I have no idea what the heck I'm doing and no one's listening to me

(shrugs) it was something to do???
Honestly given how long both shows have anchored the Sunday night block for fox I have to imagine that this was something that fox execs had been asking Groening and co. to do for several years now. (I think it was probably TED that softened Groening's stance on it—-I don't know why

you have to keep in mind that the cross-over episode was written by Family Guy's writing staff so everything's of course gonna end up darker than the characters would be normally. I didn't despise it the way Dennis Perkins did but I will attest to being confused as to how this was even going to work given that the

    season 16 was '04-05?
I think I've seen that one where Homer ends up a prison snitch waaaay too many times in syndication now because that might actually be my favorite one from that season. (and its not even a good one by far but its got a lot of parts in it I like) and its got Frank Ghary in it!

if anything the eh episodes really make the good ones pop more. (I wasn't expecting the much hyped Lego ep to be anywhere near as good as it ended up being for example)

I'm gonna miss Dads. Not so much in the traditional sense that I thought it was a good show and should've continued airing but it kept the Fox tradition of having a really crass live action show that everyone complains about but is occasionally funny and is better acted than anyone would ever cop to alive and intact.

the lisa subplot suffered to me at least from being a tossed in plotline as opposed to being the focal point of the episode the way it was waaaaaayyyy back in the classic season 3 (?) ep where he has a heart attack and needs the bypass surgery and Lisa worries grow throughout the episode. ("We Call It The Good Morning

i'll agree with you. it was ok but with some slight complaints but I thought the exploration of Krusty's sadness that his dad never found him funny was decent enough even if the ending was rushed (so Krusty is supposed to be happy that his dad enjoyed jokes that he wrote as opposed to upset that his dad enjoyed jokes

that was by far the best moment—-more than anything in the episode—-that actually made my jaw drop in surprise! (its also possible that I completely forgot that he's still alive as opposed to the faux Rodney Dangerfield cameo.)

I'm just glad there was a review of this here honestly.
I still havn't caught it yet—I kinda enjoyed the backdoor pilot that aired last year on NCIS but the backdoor pilot to NCIS RED definitely seemed like it would have made for a far more interesting show (IE one that's not an exact clone)

Person Of Interest (oh why do I bother)

huh and Agents of Shield is NCIS NO's direct timeslot competitor too! Now Pounder just needs to pop up on a random New Girl episode and maybe do a Supernatural ep and she'll hit all the nets. (Oh an episode of About a Boy too I guess)

God I saw that in theaters—and so help me I was ridiculously entertained.

will they be winding their way down baker street tho?

"Anyone who prefers more complex storytelling can find it elsewhere"
including believe it or not NCIS LA—where the stories are often a little more involved and can shift and change in the blink of an eye. (Seriously there have been more episodes now where the case they were investigating became something much, much

there's an old interview with Jon Stewart and I can't remember whom he's interviewing but it was somebody from the Death To Smoochy cast (it might've been Edward Norton now—I tend to think if it was Robin Williams—it would've lapsed too much into one liners) and the two guys just start to talk about how brilliant a
