it was stangely enough almost exactly the same scripts as some of the original episodes too. Like they changed some of the wording around but it was almost exactly the same (i'm only going from the one episode i saw on youtube but it was a strange experience because i know the original series well enough that i knew

its really hard to predict what they're gonna do with everything that normally airs on Thursday because of this. I would bet money tho that Big Bang Theory gets to kick off the season on Mondays because it is BADLY needed there. With 2 Broke Girls, and Mike and Molly as their veteran "hit" sitcoms—CBS needs heat on

well it is basically Cold Case redux. (only instead of flashbacks in the past with period setting music—we get flashbacks in
    her memory with no music)
I honestly think the only reason it was cancelled in the first place wasn't because of ratings (it finished its first season in the top 10 i believe—maybe top 15) but

it ran for TWO Episodes! And they both lost a HUUUGE chunk of its lead-in show's audience (which was either NCIS or The Unit—either way CBS literally had no choice but to cancel because if they let all 13 play out by January they would've been losing to Telemundo or NBC)

I really do like the mentalist—i've long thought it was one of the superior crime proceedural shows on network tv, and was absolutely riveted by the first half of the season's Red John pursuit. Everything before the actual reveal was fantasticly tense, wonderfully paced, and perfectly played by Baker. As unfortunate

as soneone who watched every ep of both Almost Human and Intelligence I can honestly say that Almost Human was the superior show in every single way you could possibly measure a show as being quality wise.

ohhh if i only had a nickel for every time someone asked me that question! (stares down forlornly at keyboard)

    I ALSO LIKE THE MENTALIST!!!!!
HOORAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE HERE ALSO LIKING THE MENTALIST!!!!
(Although this season was quite a step down in quality from previous seasons—i'm glad the show in continuing but it really has felt like the show's just been going thru the motions since Red John was caught and killed)

she was actually cancelled in favor of a Walker Texas Ranger spin-off that barely lasted half a season. (Although now i'm not sure if CBS cancelled it because of falling ratings or because Jane Seymour decided she didn't wanna do it as a regular series anymore)

is this a Tongi reference???? Mister And Lady!!!
I like very much! I still say that from time to time much to people's bewilderment.

i once gave her a box of goobers that i later had to pay money out of my own salary for—because i just couldn't say no you can't have that box of goobers for free. She definitely is not someone you wanna make sad!

season 3 of Mad About You was great! (seriously—that was a great season for them—a lot of the ones i liked best from the run of the show came from that season)

i do heart a good Simon Baker's Dozen.

I liked that show—i thought it was the closest thing the networks have ever come to having a live action Homer Simpson on a show. (not so much in looks but his character was totally Homer)

I gurantee you that if ABC had dropped it—20th century fox tv would've tried like crazy to get a run for it on either Fox or FX (or even FXX which still needs programming after all) I have no trouble beliving that they would've absolutely gotten the show a 4th season no matter where they would have to air it—way too

In my own defense—I didn't see them cancelling My Name Is Earl in order to make room to put it on their Thursday night schedule. (which is exactly what they did—cause they certainly didn't build another comedy block on another night)
but wow what a terrible seer of the future i would make.

it is! the clue was that it is a native word for elk.

i would still be around (and i'd definitely would wanna discuss criticisms of the show if i was) but i stopped watching it as it was airing—preferring to just watch them all at once on demand. That may actually be more New Girl's fault than Mindy since i do the same for that one whereas last season i watched them both

what album was Angry Chair on again? it wasn't this one right?
No Excuses will always take me back to 6th grade tho for what its worth. (so will Ace of Base's "The Sign" and Pearl Jam's "Daughter" and Billy Joel's "River of Dreams" among other assorted songs that got a lot of radio play that year.)

who could hate the 90's? it brought us MC Hammer!
