I'm not really a fan of it but 2003's "Anything Else" does convincingly feature Woody beating the hell out of a car with a baseball bat because its alarm won't stop blaring. I'm not saying he's a secret bad-ass or anything, but its probably the only time in any of his movies that I believed he could put aside his

Reading this review reminded me (yet again) of the Louis CK bit—"Everything's incredible and no one's happy" Applies to both the review of the movie AND the people inside the movie being reviewed! God C.K. really hit upon maybe the fundamental touchstone of humanity's eternal relationship with technology with that

The world IS still eagerly awaiting that long rumored "Hackers" reboot after all.

Yeah and Kyle MacLachlan probably stormed out of the premiere and said that he thought it was gonna be an art movie!

I don't know—while I can see what you're saying being true—there are also lot of guys today that I feel like you could say that about and end up being right on the money about. It really depends on your taste.

    Livin' In A Radioactive Paradise

same reason a lot of audience members try to get into directing (and acting for that matter! You hear me Kevin James?!?!?!?)

I'd like to believe in my heart that Sonnenfeld could mount a come-back—he always seems so personable whenever he turns up in an interview—he used to pop up on Letterman and it was clear that Letterman enjoyed talking to him (I think he actually bumped a third guest act one of the times he was on)

    nobody does it better!
(I havn't even seen Winter Soldier yet)

what's sad is David Caruso never said a joke intentionally on the show—they always just seemed to kind of happen to him. I don't know how he did it! Even when he was obviously telling a joke—he never seemed like he was telling a joke. (AC-TING)

I'm not sure how that movie hasn't been made considering how marketable Ice Cube AND Werewolves both were and still are to a degree. (the degree being Cube of course)

Schindler really was Cool As Ice goddamnit!

everybody's gotta start somewhere. low budget crap is probably a great place to learn the basics of lighting so that helped I'm sure.

I feel like if Goldblum has played the Depp part he would've almost certainly had a lot more fun with it. (but no this has gotta be firmly within the Christopher Nolan wheelhouse where everything has to be super serious and grim, grim, grim.)

Interesting that the fast food chains are starting to branch out into essentially making their own shows. Less interesting seems to be the somewhat generic content of said shows—I get enough of generic looking content on the network tv that I follow ridiculously closely—-for an internet based show to grab my attention

during the last year (2 years?) of Full House's run—DJ was engaged to this guy and more or less living with him—I can't quite remember if they were ever actually married—but the guy played her fiancée/possible husband during the last year or 2 of the show's run. (He was also the voice of Aladdin in Disney's Aladdin!)

Putting aside the fact that its been a tremendously enjoyable show this year. (Seriously I can't stress enough how really strong this season as a whole has been) ABC NEEDS TO RENEW this show just on the basis that it holds down the time slot between Last Man Standing and Shark Tank decently enough.

abc family is where the reruns will end up.
even if abc ends up cancelling (which they better not damnit) I can see ABC Fam playing like two eps every Saturday or Sunday morning.

that's a pretty good description actually!
you are right that the aliens have by and large stopped being the butt of all the jokes too which that first episode or two leaned pretty heavily on (even if I still found it funny) but you're right in that the aliens themselves have managed to become quite endearing, and

it definitely seemed like it wanted to be reminiscent of Third Rock when it first started—but its a lot more comfortable being calm and like you said a lot more low key than the cast on Third Rock. I loved Third Rock when it was on—but I could see how the frequently over the top characterizations by Lithgow, Kristen
