intrigued.
intrigued.
Not looking forward to this storyline. Did they have to make the chief baddie a regular yet again? This is gonna play out the entire 5th season now for sure!
How can there be an inevitable love triangle when its pretty clear that Claire was like one of the significant loves of Ryan Hardy's life and what's her face—sneaky reporter lady was his love interest for like two episodes. I mean that's a pretty lop-sided love triangle.
Also I didn't realize how sick of Connie…
yes. It was a good show too, I was saddened that even for TNT its ratings were terrible. But if Eric McCormack can get another show up and running on TNT I don't see why they couldn't do the same for Cavanaugh!
I have to strongly agree. I was quite taken back when I saw his name in the guest credits and then again when you see him made up—especially his hair—as the tv evangelist. But you know—better to be a working actor and continue to get your face out there—its not like Ed's in syndication so he can't depend on residuals.
ehh it was filler to pad out the season, no more, no less. Everyone here was vamping for time—even Joe was just like "yeah, yeah, murder, death, murder death, rain blood and hellfire, etc, etc, check back next week"
with Ed I believe it was about music rights—there've been rumors for a couple years now that they've been trying to get season one out there—so you just gotta cross your fingers that it'll come out one of these years.
well its pretty clear to me that Fox wanted this show to be more like 24—so they made it more 24 like in terms of plotting and even dialog (Mike barking WHERE IS HE??? to the fake nurse right before her suicide by cop is right out of the writing dialog for Jack Bauer handbook)
honestly that's a very good question! I was kind of confused by why Joe was talking so loudly about Mandy—-its as if when they were discussing her they were just hoping she was lurking nearby just so she would get the hint and run away and not be there anymore. Seriously the writers didn't even try to come up with a…
the Poe mention was even an acknowledgement on Joe's part about how stupid he was to focus way to much on Poe's work when trying to relay the beauty of death to his followers instead of using the bible/religion angle that he's now using with his stolen flock of nu cult members. Joe is learnding!
while they weren't brothers—they did share the screen albeit for only a minute or two in "Mystery Men"
I assumed it was all new every week until April 25th (i think that's where the math took me) with the one exception of April 4th when Fox will be double pumping the last 2 Raising Hope eps.
its ok I will cop to being a Paul Reiser fan and/or defender in that I've always liked him and have always found it really easy to relate to him. (It doesn't help that I share a fair amount of his um mannerisms and sorta way of speaking/delivery—that way he has of sorta refusing to make a decision and repeating…
It was solidly enjoyable. I don't think its the highlight of the season (for me the London episode is gonna be hard to top—I weirdly think that that worked really well for everyone there)
but she's loved so much and so enthusiastically that it makes up for her boringness! Leslie Knope's passion for Anne injects Anne with personality!
he does do charmingly sleazy really well.
there was a Modern Family episode in which he played a long time rival of Phill's where he more or less played a similar part a year or two back.
what were the writers' gonna write him into an episode after he wasn't there anymore? (I know, I know they could've reached out to him or at least mentioned him a time or two after he left but you know what I mean)
in the review of The Crazy Ones I mentioned that one of the reasons why I think the show plays as surprisingly well as it does (with me at least) is because of how fast paced everything is there. The pace there really sells the show to the point that even when its not that hilarious I still find it amusing more often…
I think there was a Spin City episode that re-used an episode title—but those generally tended to be rerun in order so that the two episodes were rarely confused for one another (It helped that one was during Michael J Fox's run and the other from Charlie Sheen's run)
best was them reading the list of fees—-talking loudly in front of the tents fee? Quiet Sir There Are Tents Here!
