I'm ecstatic about the band's success! Just miffed I couldn't get standing tickets. But I would pay to see these guys from a high hill overlooking an amphitheater. But there's got to be some place left in the country they won't sell out in under an hour, right?

I've been an obsessive fan of this band for a while, and they've been uncomfortably big for a while now. Two weeks ago, they sold out two nights in a stadium in Chicago in under 15 minutes. They added a third night. It is now sold out.

I don't think the movie would have worked at all if he hadn't been so childlike. All the straight men in that movie are submissive little boys (aside from the evil exes), and all the women are dominant and mature. The story charts his growth from perpetual adolescence to young-manhood.

Sure, it was last year, but the quantity and variety of truly great albums was absolutely amazing. And it was horrible to try to keep up with.
