It's Cheyenne.

Here, here! It was visually very clever (Mott's face shifting in the light as prime example), had a few legit scares, and hearty gore. Not to mention the joy of seeing Conroy and Peters again. I may not connect emotionally to the characters or embrace the logic of the world but the show is still thrilling to watch.

Welcome to The A.V. Club! First time stopping by?

And a mind-wrackingly frustrating ending.

We know from the previews that the next episode of AHS follows this same couple but I'm wondering if after that we get another "episode" of MRN with a different story at the same house. The Roanoke mythology being the constant running underneath it all.

Everyone is saying Detox was giving Fifth Element which is true, but I kinda liked the Blade Runner moment before the reveal more.

The pink, fluffy cotton candy vomit, most likely.

Not to mention Mother was dressed like Santa Clause because, of course, both of them are SPOILERS not real.

I wouldn't doubt it being a subtle runner. The smaller ways the show nods to Hitchcock have been fascinating, and you know how he felt about blondes.

But the way he ripped apart that bunch of bananas! What a BADASS brazen act of white hot rebellion!!!!!

PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA!

I saw what they were going for with contrasting the county and private hospital systems but it made me uncomfortable thinking of people watching that might be scared off of seeking treatment. It was like the BM version of the 4th floor of Pawnee City Hall.

The joke is that white people are terrible.

While I understand that in the real world young, fit, and attractive gay men can be dismissive of those not like them, that in and of itself is a stereotype. Real people have more shades than you're giving them credit for.

I disagree. I think you are trying to speak for way more gay men than the amount of gay men that would agree with you speaking for them. Your idea of "the way it works" is limiting and an over generalization.

She does seem to be one of the most grounded people on the show with little tolerance for drama. I'm seeing the use of her as less is more for the time being. Until Rebecca really needs help getting her feet back on the ground. Fingers crossed.

A confrontation where she sings? Please.
