I often feel like the "bad" episodes are the best, since the shitty calls give Tom something to bounce off. Some episodes just have nothing but bad callers, and hearing Tom lose the will to live before the second hour's up is great.

Just re-read the review and I see nothing wrong with it. He hardly focuses on the music, which may or may not be fair depending on how much the lyrics are foregrounded. His main point is that the lyrics are weak on about half the songs, due to picking on weak targets. It's not even a negative review.
