I like K. Thrace's idea better than what I've seen of Buffy and Veronica Mars moving things to higher education.  It would have been bolder, yes, but also more interesting to see her not attend a 4-year college and try to eek by with night classes in addition to her employment as a PI.

I think she's a pretty good match for her terrible actor husband in this show, Dude From The Nanny.
