Well, I guess taken on its own, answering calls a couple hours a night isn't hard work. But becoming a doctor, continuing to practice for 20 years or whatever while also going to do a radio show until midnight every work day with no real recognition for over a decade is not trivial

Well he was (is?) a real medical doctor who started that radio show in Los Angeles in the 80s. Years of hard work being unknown eventually it clicked when carolla was added as his co host and they started getting tv offers
