Reminds me of a scene in "The Big Night" where (I think) Stanley Tucci's character is having a conversation at Ian Holm's desk and there's a fluorescent desk lamp blocking Holm's face from Tucci. It's quite distracting to the viewer and at the time I wondered why they would frame the shot that way when BAM Holm bats…

David Berkowitz heard voices. Or one, anyway. The dog. Anyway, there are movies about people struggling with mental illness. This is a story of a killer who's schizophrenic. It would be a stretch to infer from it that all schizophrenics are killers.

@ganondorf, maybe you should try it again. Some movies, especially mindfuckey ones, are better on a second viewing, and Cloud Atlas could be one of 'em. (I liked it the first time, but YMMV).
