On the flip side, we now have so many smart music streaming services, anyone can quickly find new music in the genres you love. If you find a band with some good tunes, you may only be paying $1.29 (Canadian) per song, but you'll be coughing up BIG bucks for concert tickets and t-shirts.

Woah, "Suicide" by Spacemen 3 truly demands to be played waaaay too loud, doesn't it? Sweet.

"Shine a Light" starts out like some sort of gospel tune - picture yourself coming out of a coma - and has a nice, buzzed out climax, and "I Think I'm In Love" is a keeper as well.

Man, that Rolling Stone list of top artists was…crazy? How are Queen and Pink Floyd not in the Top 100 artists, and how could The Ramones be up there so high on the list? Crazy!

According to my iTunes library, the only song I've got from 1977 is Christine 16 by KISS. Dirty old men, rejoice! Sorta.

The wins by Bale and Reznor offset all the disappointing stuff last night.

It's a good think that we're safe up here in Canada from the Vatican Assassin Warlocks - I hear they're out there, embarrassing folks left and right. Scary!

RH can rock out when they want to. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to put away the guitars, and haul out the drum machine(s) on this album, but they should be arrested by the karma police. There's a fine line between "thought-provoking headphone music" and "unlistenable gibberish"…
