Prequels? Nah, we need flash-backs, and then some flash-forwards, and then maybe some flash-sideways, and then we could add a smoke monster to whack some guys, and then we'll have all the dead guys meet in some sort of purgatory/Heaven place. We'll also need a dog to tie things together. I'm telling ya, this stuff

Wow! You weren't kidding about the new Kylesa album were you?!?!?
What an amazing album! There must be something special they're putting in Savannah's water supply. Beautifully complex headphone music. I just keep on downloading song after song from iTunes. Simply epic.

TiVo and TV on DVD have killed the Water Cooler
Notice how people don't talk as much about TV when they gather at work? (Unless you're from Canada, and everyone only watches the Leafs game, and either loves or hates the Leafs.)

Is it just me, or does anyone else wish that FM radio would get away from the notion of "Alternative Rock"-only playlists? "Alternative Rock" was outstanding…in 1991-1993. It's been on a slow decline ever since. "Alternative" music - at least the stuff played on the radio - just isn't that excitingly different now.

Be careful what you ask for…once classic rock starts playing Nirvana, we'll be subjected to heavy rotation of exactly one song: Smells Like Teen Spirit. Over, and over again. Classic Rock playlists have already single-handedly killed my interest in Pink Floyd, AC/DC and The Who.

It's amazing how so many people seem to have "found" certain bands before they hit the mainstream - Nirvana, Kings of Leon, etc. - while other artists, even though their music might be just as good (or better) aren't "found".

Thanks for mentioning Faith No More - of all the cool music that came out during the early '90's, FNM was arguably the most influential. Definitely a great time to be a young man.

Kylesa is like Baroness and Mastodon - cool bands that I'd likely never heard of if it wasn't for the good old Metal Box. Thanks, folks, you've made my day once again.

E-Mail boxes?

They're called….Canadians.

Holy crap!

Outstanding!
Loved the acting, script, direction and the score. A very well made movie. We talked about this one for hours after leaving the theatre.

Notice how the same sort of decline has happened to YouTube? I loved how it intuitively suggested new videos for me, but now, I'm repulsed by all of the juvenile comments that litter each page. Shame, really.

Rock N Roll All Nite & Part of Every Day!
Seriously, KISS needs an invite to the Hall - if for no other reason than that they continue to bring it in concert. So what if their only claim to fame is that they've mastered marketing and brand awareness? I'd dare say KISS is more recognizable than 9/10's of the bands

How the heck aren't KISS or Rush not in the Hall yet?!

I completely on board with the whole "The Doors are overrated" thing, but people will be enjoying Led Zep for generations to come. Haters be gone!

Gimme an artist who's willing to try something new over groups like the Stones or Eagles or U2 who just seem to keep coasting. Yes, the lyrics are fairly light, but the studio FX are pretty sweet.

Rock ain't dead yet - check out Neil Young's new album on Tuesday, folks.

We just saw it as well. There were a few laughs, but also more than a few awkward, unfunny scenes. How would the groom not know about his bride's high school past since he went to the same small school as well?
