Actually, considering most of the people who show up at tea party/nazi-klan rally/minutemen actions are the same I think its more than okay to lump Lou Dobbs with Glenn Beck (and O'reilly). I think the only difference is the Crispus Attucks brigade isn't welcome at the klan rally.

I thought the correct term was mangina.

I thought it was assbackwards not backasswards?
Oh yeah, good list.
What with this and the short story list I find myself having to catch up on a lot of reading I didn't do in the last century. Does that mean I will be behind the times by reading these books come 2010?
Also, yay for White Teeth.

I'm with padrock on most of this. I was riveted for most of these scenes and I can't say that for a lot of films.

Dot matrix printers are awesome for carbon copy and triplicate forms.
I would know this because I am a geek.
That is all.

Best. Fucking. Scene. Ever.

Its hard to say what the Observer's correction are for. It could also be related to more incursions from the other side and events related to the pattern.

I wonder is in the process of observing, the umm Observers were a little to overzealous and that whats caused the interference they needed to rectify.

Its Quik
Walters missing the Quik in his milkshake, its the thing that's so common yet gives the strawberry milkshake that extra flavor.

Never start a land war in Aisa!
Any chance the full version will ever make it over to the U.S.? An epic treatment of romance of the three kingdoms like this seems too good to pass up.

How in the hell could Crash be considered part of NCC in anyone's mind? I would figure it belonged more under I watched this on purpose. Most of the other ones listed here are good choices and I figure they're going to get to eventually, like Ghost Dog and Mulholland Drive. I also would put in a vote for eXistenZ

In my book Terminator meets Army of Darkness would be a pretty sweet sell. I think Raimi has repeatedly said, though, that the diminishing returns on the films pretty much preclude a sequel given how much each subsequent film costs versus how much it made.

Seriously, this movie is one of my all time favorites. Its almost a litmus test for whether I will get along with people.

Wow guys, not the list I was expecting. Still, nice.
You got a give a shout out to Talib Kweli, though, pretty much anything this decade. Rabin where the best of hiphop/rap list?

I'm enjoying the read
I am still working through the book, but I can safely say that I am pleasantly surprised with how it is turning out. Sanderson definitely has his own style and it has its drawbacks but the positive outweighs whatever negative qualities are present. Most importantly he is moving the plot along,

A bunch of guys fighting Drew Barrymore would be a good movie, I would pay to see that.
Oh wait, Charlies Angels, nevermind.

I was really surprised on first reading about it that Fight Club bombed at the box office on its initial release. When I went to see it in the theater it was packed. Knowing it bombed makes me wonder about the demographic that did go to see it, let alone filled the theater. This was kind of place in Oakland that

OMG Supernatural always makes digging graves looks so easy!
I was gonna give this episode a lower grade at first but then once they said that line other parts started to redeem the episode. I also thought the Becky spilling the beans on Crowley was a funny move, in a good way. Hopefully thing will get back to form

Wow, Laksmi hate. Okay, I'll bite…

Yeah, does anyone watch Bones?
