Where is your Eiffel 65 now?!
We all knew she was epic from the moment that we read her note to Stannis regarding who's the real king.
The New Pornographers. Seen them every time they tour D.C. since 2004.
Super villain perhaps.
We?
I guess the House doesn't always win.
Keep the Home Fires Burnin' is a nice slice of honky tonk.
What a novel idea! New York is very fascinating and it deserves to be explored more through art.
I'm getting a "Your Highness" vibe from this. Probably more to it than that.
Saw Hippo Campus in concert on a whim: very impressed with their show. "Way It Goes" should be a huge single in the vein of something like "Pumped Up Kicks".
THE DONNAS! We hardly knew ye. "Take It Off" was one of the best hard rock singles of the new millennium.
Ignore the vocals and focus on the riffs man, the RIFFS.
I'm in the same boat: ever listen to the top twenty songs on Sirius Alt Nation? These are the songs considered alternative now?! Imagine Dragons? Cold War Kids? Cage the Elephant?
Cheap Trick has a new album out too!
If Young Metro don't trust you ima shoot you.
For fans of "Black Star" the song, check out Gillian Welch's incredible cover: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I felt the opposite. Saw them/her open for New Pornographers: oppressively slow and same-y/moody songs. Could not get into it.
Best songs they do live are "Testament to Youth in Verse" and "Bleeding Heart Show", and "The Laws Have Changed" for sure.
Needed moar Dan Bejar. Without it and you've got 100% pure Newman. Which I don't mind, but I can see it not resonating as strongly as previous albums.
