There's so many: "I'm gonna get me a motor car, maybe a Jaguar, maybe a plane or a day of fame"

Incidentally, Noel is up Morrissey's ass quite a bit:

He totally has attempted this on songs like "The Girl In the Dirty Shirt" and "Married With Children", among others, but these are obviously lesser versions of the songs you mention.

I'd wager a guess that Noel is probably sick of it as well.

And that's why we loved 'em.

"Fucking 'Country House' by Blur. I mean, come off it, are you serious? That's your 'hate song' of the century."

Foer: "We are writing…we are writing…we are writing…."
Oswalt: "Privilege", "Privilege", "Privilege"

That song is genius, IMO: "short but very affecting" is the perfect way to put it.

That's a great one, absolutely, however my personal favorite is "Concerning the UFO sighting".

Grandaddy is the best, that would be an odd lineup now.

Also Ween's live recording of "Buckingham Green" off Live in Chicago kicks all kinds of ass.

This is a song off our new…album….and the song is called "Surrender"!

I'm legitimately surprised that no ironic indie rapper has not taken this broken loop as a sample for their hook.

Dawes live is like being reborn into Valhalla.

Hey, don't you wanna go deeooown

Rap concerts are notoriously inconsistent, but I like some of those Jay-Z live acoustic set cuts better than the album ones.

"We put this festival on you bastards, with a lot of love! And you wanna tear it down, and destroy it?! Well you go to HELL!"

Nobody is going to know this one, but the Swedish band Hellsongs, who do indie pop covers of heavy metal songs, have a live album called "Long Live Lounge" and their live version of "Seek and Destroy" is so much better than the album cut.

Clickhole: when The Onion is misanthropic enough

Key changes typically transpose up a half or whole step, but are there examples of the key going down? I feel like that'd be some Frank Zappa shit or something.
